Congratulations to long time clients of Bowen Stud, David and Olwyn Lyons of Melville Park – Vasey, Vic.

Melville Park was awarded champion pen at the Stock and Land Southern Beef Week Heifer Challenge 2020.

Judge Rick Smith made comment “I consider the heifer program to be the foundation of the herd and the Business, get the cows right and the rest will follow” he went on to add “Temperament and structural soundness were the key to my assessment and I was critical with those traits throughout my assessment.”

Melville Park has used in excess of 8 Bowen stud sires in their breeding program over the past 15 years.
